New Bedford, MA is a center of New England craftsmanship, ranging from boat building to


textile mills and fine furniture. Cozy Closets builds on this tradition, but adds 21st


century technology to its roots in woodworking. Its sister company, ACE Woodworking, was


established more than forty years ago as a builder of case work and store interiors for


the commercial trade, including some of the best known retailers nationwide. The company


is to this day locally owned and operated.

The facility of some 40,000 square feet is in


a completely modernized textile mill building dating back to the early 1900\\\\\\\'s. ACE Woodworking


specializes in large scale commercial projects such as retail store interiors, university


and college food service / lab furniture. This heritage made it easy to establish a closet


design and manufacturing business.

Cozy Closets has all of the state-of-the-art equipment required to fabricate custom closet


components. The equipment is entirely computer-driven and delivers the parts needed with perfect


precision every time. We have focused on eliminating potential errors in the design and production


process, from the initial in-home design


session (which is always free) to the final assembly in


your home. The delivery and installation process has been refined in over forty years of dealing


with the most demanding national retail chain customers. Our knowledge of the materials and


hardware is second to none, and we buy in large commercial quantities from the highest quality suppliers.

Even our business approach blends the traditional with technology. Information is shared


instantly and electronically between the designer and the factory to enable quick turn-around


and \\\\\\\"zero defects\\\\\\\" in the manufacturing process. Sophisticated computer design programs interface


directly with the machines on the factory floor. But when it comes to the people who make up our


business, we like it the old-fashioned way: We do not offer franchises, but maintain a close-knit


family of associates whose primary goal is to build the best closet at the lowest possible cost.
