Whether you describe it as relaxing, chilling, or unwinding, we all need to do it. Here are some of the best ways to take it easy.

If you want to relax, one of the best ways is to simply escape the bustling city in favour of the tranquillity and fresh air of the countryside. Even just spending a day or a weekend in the countryside can alleviate much of your stress.

Another fantastic way to take it easy is, of course, by going on holiday. Beach resorts like Menorca are particularly popular, offering seemingly infinite sunshine along with attractions that are suitable for families and couples alike. Here, you can simply read a book and top up your tan.

 
If spending hours by the pool isn’t your idea of a relaxing holiday, you could consider a more active holiday. Many people are better energised by trips to some of the world’s greatest architectural masterpieces, museums and galleries in some of the most cosmopolitan cities around the world.

 
You may, however, require a quicker and cheaper alternative to a holiday, in which case it is well worth taking regular walks, which get you fit and reduce your stress levels. Walking also gives you the time to experience nature while organising your thoughts.
