The material Inconel 625 was first developed in the 1940’s by teams of researchers at Wiggin Works in Hereford. It will also be found in chemical processing plants due to its acid resistant properties as well as well pump motors, heat exchangers, incinerators and even in the exhaust systems of formula 1 vehicles.

However, if you are looking for a tough, solid material with a reputation to match, then this is the alloy for you.
