Breastfeeding and Diet - Losing the Last Few Pounds That Won't Seem to Budge

So, you have your beautiful new baby and have managed
to get the hang of breastfeeding. You feel comfortable in your new role
as Mommy (although it is hard work!) and have seen yourself lose weight
quite easily. But unlike some mothers who breastfeed, you just can\'t
seem to lose the last 5-10lbs. You seem stuck. You maybe didn\'t have to
change anything really about your diet or not enough to warrant being a
nuisance, and exercise is something you have incorporated but maybe not
as much as you thought you needed. You were relying on breastfeeding to
lose all your weight!

So what can you do about this? What
breastfeeding diet is available that will keep you with a delicious
supply of milk for your baby but will help you rid those last few
pounds that seem to be stuck to you like glue?

Well, you know
that exercise is important. If you haven\'t incorporated this into your
routine, you should start doing so now. Don\'t push yourself into it
though. Maybe you have been walking everyday with your new baby, but it
might be time to step it up a gear. If so, pick something you will
enjoy, can stick to, and can fit into your life. Some of us don\'t get
to have babysitters or regular help, so going to a gym may not be
something you can do. I wouldn\'t join a gym anyway - the gym to me is
so boring! You stare at blank walls or walls full of TVs.

My
exercise was running - I luckily had my husband to look after our son
while I did this. On days that were a little tricky I went for a bike
ride with baby in a seat. If this wasn\'t something I could manage (baby
being too young) then I did some yoga at home. These are things I
enjoyed and still do. You should always pick something enjoyable or it
will be hard to stick to - not to mention why add something to your
life you don\'t enjoy?

Your diet is also important here. You may
have been eating better because you are breastfeeding but your weight
loss has just stopped, so you need to change this. I followed a diet
program to help me deal with this problem. I didn\'t have the time to
work out how to squeeze those last few pounds off so went with a diet
program.

I found a really good breastfeeding diet program too. It
was easy, simple and did not add complication into my life. If you
don\'t know how to work on your diet or simply don\'t have the time, then
I recommend finding a diet program. It may be your only way to shift
the last few pounds and can make your life a lot easier in doing so.

Try
not to be too hard on yourself. You have made the majority of your
weight loss very easy by breastfeeding. Some women choose not to
breastfeed or simply can\'t and have a much harder time shifting their
excess pregnancy weight as a result. You have conquered the bulk of it
so be proud!

You can conquer the rest, you just need to make a few adjustments to your lifestyle and you will see the results.
