Poland has a few beautiful cities, as well as many small and quiet villages if you are looking for some peace and way out of a big noisy and chaotic metropolis. First place to visit that comes to my mind is Krakow. It is said to be a cultural capitol of Poland and sometimes even of Europe. Nowadays it is a very good idea to rent an apartment in Krakow for a few nights and spend some quality time here. Of course there are some fantastic museums with lots of marvelous pieces of art, but the real magic is in places like Cracow\'s Rynek or the old city part called Kazimierz. There are lots of narrow streets filled with cafes, pubs and gardens to sit in, talk, sip wine, beer or whatever you like. So if you are looking for apartments in Krakow you shouldn\'t have any problems, because this form of spending weekends, holidays as the new year\'s eve and even Christmas is very popular in Poland.
However If you would like to rather go shopping instead of walking around or drinking wine in fine Krakow\'s café\'s then maybe Warsaw is the right place for you?
